WOMEN IN MARKETING OF THE C.I.M.N

ˇ    Recently, the Certified Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, CIMN inaugurated its women wing; a body of Professionally qualified women in Marketing profession know as the "Women in Marketing" WIMA. The body is to look into the peculiar needs of professional women in the Marketing Profession so as to play a vital role as applicable in Marketing Profession. 

To take care of perennial problem often faced by women. WIMA has launched a full scale massive awareness campaign to enable professionally qualified women in Marketing:

To actively participate in all activities of CIMN in Nigeria and every marketing society in the world.

To ensure that all qualified women are actively involved in WIMA activities. The body has been encouraging all admitted female members of CIMN to participate in its activities.

WIMA is purposed to look into Professional, Social and Economic issues as they affect women in the modern time hence the need to tackle and resolve these problems as a group. The group has come together to subdue the misconceptions and the sex discrimination by men that Professionalism is reserved for men. They are to serve as Vanguard for other Women in Marketing and other profession at large.

WIMA is working out modalities to enable other Marketing bodies worldwide establish the wing in their Country as well as an International Federation of Women in Marketing

Membership of WIMA encouragingly increasing. The Executive Members of WIMA for the time being are padding the WIMA cause to the next millennium.
